We are the Champions, my friends

Friends, sometimes we need to reward ourselves. For some people this can be as a simple as getting a cupcake at the end of the day or as big as taking a trip to Paris (Can I come?). I, however, am a traditionalist and I love an old fashioned prize ribbon. Particularly those made by Jessica Grindstaff. Use them to decorate yourself or they make a fun decoration for your abode.

Why'd you have to be so cute?

This past New York Fashion week, I had the great pleasure of interning with designer Chris Benz. I loved every minute of it. In a nutshell, I helped to get things ready for the spring collection that was about to go out to stores and to get things ready for the a/w presentation. I was lucky enough to be able to help dress at the show and took pictures backstage and during the show. I love Chris' use of color, details, and tailoring for his garments. Now only if I could afford them. Here's a small sampling from the show.

My Little Cabin Fever

This whole week has been rainy and snowy and all around blah. While I'd like to stay in bed, under the covers, hibernating until spring, I can't. Instead, I've taken to searching around for inspiring things to get my spirits through until the sun returns. This video should lift your spirits all the way into the summer of yesteryear and make you pee your pants at the same time.

Being one step behind in techno-trends as usual, I am now just beginning my own blog. I see this as an oppurtunity to put my own unique brand of crerativity out into the world. I would like to post about such things as fashion, art, music, crafts, silliness, photos, books, movies and things that makes the world more beautiful, magical and sometimes wondrously insane. I am hoping that this blog will appeal to like minded people such as (Hopefully!) you the reader, who want to share what makes life magical for you....
